45 Days is a project where I chronicled news headlines every day between  January 6th – February 20th, 2020: a period of 45 days. Initially appearing on Instagram, each day’s headlines became its own dense prose poem. The texts were then given physical and material presence on a series of minimalist glass sculptures. Each sculpture contains a light on a timer that brings the text in and out of view on an approximately 30-minute cycle.

I developed this project over 2023 and early 2024 with the support of the glass geniuses at MDSG Studios, and my lighting fabricator, Peter Tran.
